TJs Tidbits Greetings LMS Families,  This week is American Education Week, a week that honors those who work in public schools, everyone from the bus driver and classroom teacher to the cafeteria worker, support and administrative staff, plus countless others.  There are over 50 million K-12 students in US public schools.   As a public school educator, I feel honored and privileged to be a part of the team at Ladue Middle School. Our staff works diligently to ensure your children receive a quality education. Some days can be tough,  but it's so very rewarding. Thank you for sending your kiddos to us. You could have chosen any public school, but you selected LMS!      It's hard to believe that we are already approaching the holiday season. November is a special time at LMS. TJs Tidbits Greetings LMS Families,  Red Ribbon Week is one of my favorite times of the year. Last week we learned about the importance of staying drug free and the  students and staff really came together to show school spirit by dressing according to the daily themes. Halloween, of course, was the highlight of the week. Seeing the various costumes that students AND staff had on was so much fun. I shared several pics in my Parent Link email for you to enjoy.  We are well into second quarter now and things have really picked up. Please be aware that the workload will be increasing in many classes if it hasn't already as first quarter often includes a review of concepts that were learned the previous year and second quarter is mainly new learning. Should your student express that he/she is having difficulty, please encourage asking for help.
