Good afternoon.     Today is Records Day at LMS, when faculty and staff return to submit grades, box up classrooms, and close out the school year.  This is always an interesting day of transition between the energy and chaos of the end of the year and the relative quiet of summer.     CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU’s     Congratulations to the Ladue Middle School students competed in the US Chess Federation SuperNationals VI tournament May 11-14 in Nashville, TN. SuperNationals VI was the largest rated chess tournament in history, with 5577 competitors and 1586 teams from 50 states. Students competed in tournament sections according to their grade and US Chess Federation rating. Arya Bhushan (7)  and Katie Eisenman (8) competed in the K-8 Under 1000 section, both finishing in 20th place among a field of 249 players. As a team, Arya and Katie finished in 34th place out of 44 teams. Roshen Chatwal (7) and Joshua Fundler (7) played in the K-12 Under 1200 section, with R

I hope that you are well on this glorious Friday afternoon. On a personal note, thank you for your patience during morning drop off today.  We had a plan, got bogged up, then made an adjustment in traffic routes at the last minute.  I hope that it helped.  Next Friday morning will be a challenge as well and we will do our best.  It might help, if you are entering from Conway and only need to drop off, if you would turn on your left-hand blinker to let me know.  I will get you routed to the front of the building IF buses are not in the way. LHWHS Sports Information for 8th grade students

Good afternoon.  This post is for current LMS 8th grade students and their parents.  The information below is provided by the LHWHS Activities Office. Thank you, Greg ARE YOU AN INCOMING FRESHMAN STUDENT INTERESTED IN ATHLETICS AT LADUE HORTON WATKINS HIGH SCHOOL? All students interested in participating in sports at LHWHS must have a completed physical and parent permission on file with the Athletic Department. Physicals must be completed on or after February 1, 2017 and state the student is cleared for sports, to be valid for the 2017-2018 school year. The forms can be found on the high school website under the Activities/Athletics tab. (http://lhwhs.ladueschools.net/athletics/) After the required forms are turned into the Athletics Office, fall athletes will need to come by to pick up their participation slip. LMS Citizenship Ceremonies/Traffic and Parking

Good morning.  I forgot to include the last two bulleted items below. The following is for those parents who plan on attending our Citizenship Ceremonies on Friday, May 12.  The schedule is as follows: Grade 8 - 8:15 AM; LMS Gym Grade 7 - 9:30 AM; LMS Gym Grade 6 - 12:45 PM; LMS Gym Access to the building will be through our front entrance, as well as the entrances on both sides of the Gym. With our limited parking on campus, I would ask that: Parents park in our back blacktop lot.  Four rows can be formed, two at the fence on either side and two together in the middle of the lot. Parents NOT park in our front Circle Drive for the Grade 8 ceremony, as we have morning car and bus drop off. Everyone be aware that certain portions of the Circle Drive will have restricted parking, indicated by orange cones. Parents consider using our shuttle bus, which will run on the following schedule: Grade 8 - From Ladue Chapel: 8:00 to 9:30 AM Grade 7 - From
