Good afternoon.  I hope that your week has gone well. CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS Thank you and congratulations to Aaron Lehde, Betsy Cytron, Michael Faris, Scott Harris, Katie Solomon and members of the LMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Bands for their truly wonderful performances this past Wednesday evening to a packed house at the LHWHS Performing Arts Center.  It was a truly wonderful way to end the day.  The kids (and teachers) did a fantastic job.   Administrative Professionals Day was this past Wednesday.  I cannot adequately express how valuable our office staff members are to us.  They are: Nancy Edwards, Principal’s Secretary Peggy Breidenbach, Registrar Carol Stephens, Guidance Secretary Danna Anderson, Receptionist Mary LoBosco, Assistant Principals’ Secretary Ann Mohrmann, Library Aide Kelly Shevitz, Clinic Aide Thank you, as well, to the LMSPA which allowed me to take them to lunch on their day. Good afternoon.   I hope the weekend has gone well for you and your families. As you can probably imagine, many of our students will opt to wear Halloween costumes to school this Friday.   This is fine, but we ask the following in addition to our regular dress code expectations: ·       No costumes that include masks or any other items that cover the face. ·       No costumes that prohibit or impede necessary classroom/learning activities. ·       No costumes that advertise or encourage the use of alcohol, drugs or other controlled substances, nor include offensive language. ·       No costumes that include weapons (either look-alike or toy) or any weapons-related items. LMS Fall Play correction

The LMS Fall Play will hold two performances on Friday, November 7. They will occur at: 4:30 pm 7 pm (originally communicated as 7:30 pm) I will make this correction in the calendar portion for the next weekly update. Thanks, Greg
