April 18, 2014
Good afternoon,
everyone. I typically refrain from
counting down the days remaining on the school year for as long as possible,
since it seems to make the time seem longer (administrators look forward to the
upcoming summer as well). Next Monday
will mark 25 days left in the current school year. Things are ramping up leading up to that day,
with multiple concerts, grade level activities, and recognition programs. In my interactions with students, I try to
reinforce the hope that they continue their best efforts through the final
day. Now is not time to coast. I feel confident that they will continue to
devote themselves to their work, while also maintaining positive behaviors that
they have exhibited throughout the year.

National School Of Character site visit
With the conclusion of our
site visit this past Monday, all we can do is wait at this point to see if we
have been designated a National School of Character. Thank you to Counselor Janey Worthington for
spearheading this effort. We hope to
have a communication somewhere around the middle of May.
Community Service Project
LMS student Emma Singer is
coordinating a collection of personal care items to benefit The Bridge, an
