September 11, 2015
Good afternoon. I hope your week has gone well.
We began our
day with recognition of the sacrifice and loss of life of approximately 3000
people on this date fourteen years ago.
I presented this over our school-wide announcements, including that
those who were lost represented different ethnicities, cultures, and religions,
from all walks of life. We also
recognized the contributions and sacrifices made by our first responders and
those who protect our country. An
opportunity for a period of silence followed, so that we might show our
respect.
CONGRATULATIONS
and THANKS
Congratulations
to Associate Principal Dr. Tiffany Taylor-Johnson. Dr. Taylor-Johnson will be recognized as a
2015 Excellence in Education Awardee at the St. Louis American Foundation’s 28
annual Salute to Excellence in Education Scholarship and Awards Gala on
September 25.
