Picture Packets

Good morning.

Picture packets from August 26 are here.  These will be distributed through Core Teams on Wednesday, September 23 and should be coming home to you that afternoon.

Also included are complimentary student ID cards provided by Wagner Portrait Group.  These have NO function in school, but MIGHT POSSIBLY be used as an ID for student discount purposes at local businesses (at their discretion).  

As a reminder, Picture Re-Take Day is scheduled for Thursday, October 15.  This is for:
  • Students who were absent from school on August 26.  Although those students and their parents may opt not to order a picture packet, we would like to have everyone in this group have their photos taken on October 15 to update our student database system.
  • Students who had their pictures take on August 26, but have problems with their original photographs.  Wagner asks that students in this category return their original packets on October 15 to have their photos re-taken.
Picture packages may also be ordered online by going to www.WagnerProtraitGroup.com and using the Password LMS.

Good afternoon.  I hope that your week has gone well. CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS Thank you and congratulations to Aaron Lehde, Betsy Cytron, Michael Faris, Scott Harris, Katie Solomon and members of the LMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Bands for their truly wonderful performances this past Wednesday evening to a packed house at the LHWHS Performing Arts Center.  It was a truly wonderful way to end the day.  The kids (and teachers) did a fantastic job.   Administrative Professionals Day was this past Wednesday.  I cannot adequately express how valuable our office staff members are to us.  They are: Nancy Edwards, Principal’s Secretary Peggy Breidenbach, Registrar Carol Stephens, Guidance Secretary Danna Anderson, Receptionist Mary LoBosco, Assistant Principals’ Secretary Ann Mohrmann, Library Aide Kelly Shevitz, Clinic Aide Thank you, as well, to the LMSPA which allowed me to take them to lunch on their day. TJs Tidbits Greetings LMS Families,  It was pretty busy at LMS last week. In addition to all of the learning that took place, we had field trips, a morning orchestra concert, and a few other school events.  Students and staff surprised me on Wednesday with nine beautiful hand made cards personalized with powerful and inspirational quotes for Boss's Day. They also gave me one of my favorites (popcorn) and a few other small tokens of appreciation. I can't thank them or you enough. It is truly a joy serving in this role.   PT Conferences are Wednesday and Thursday. We look forward to sharing student progress with parents and answering any questions that you have. Please be on the lookout for an informational email from Dr. Knight explaining logistics later this week.
