Good afternoon and Happy Friday.
CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS
Thank you for doing a great job of teaching your kids proper manners and consideration for others. Having worked with students over the past thirty-two years, in a variety of settings, it is NOT a common occurrence for children of this age level to hold doors open for others, help their peers when someone drops a loaded binder on a hallway floor, or just say “thank you” or “good morning.” While such positive behaviors and actions are out of the ordinary, based upon my past experience, they are the norm here. That is not to say LMS is perfect (far from it), but working with students who display consideration for others is greatly valued by us all. Please pass this along to your children this weekend to let them know how much it is appreciated.

She will present "Updates on Eating Disorders: What we know about causes and treatment. How to raise resilient teens who have a healthy relationship with food and their body.” All parents are welcome since this is a topic that touches the lives of many: male, female, and even the student athlete. Invite a friend and join us. Questions: Elizabeth Cobin,
8th Grade Video

I hope you and your families enjoy the improved weather this weekend. I also hope you have an opportunity to reflect upon the sacrifices made by those who have worked, and those who continue to work, to ensure equal rights for us all as we observe the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday on Monday.
Thank you for your time.
