Good afternoon and Happy
Mothers Day.
CONGRATULATIONS
and THANKS
Thank you to
Scholastic Book Fair Chairperson Jodi Blucher and the many volunteers who
assisted with the Scholastic Book Fair this past week.
Your time and energy
are greatly appreciated.
Congratulations
to all LMS students and their parents and families who were recognized during
last Friday’s Citizenship Ceremonies.
Congratulations
to the members of the LMS Science Bowl team (Navan Giuliani, Felix Hu, Moses
Schindler and Seema Patil) and coach Martin Long. The team tied for 9th place in the U.S. this
past weekend at the national tournament in Washington D.C.
Thank you to Liz Petersen,
LMS grade 7 Science, and everyone who participated in the electronic recycling event
that was held at LMS on April 25. Over
27,000 pounds of electronics were collected for recycling and reuse – rather than
in landfills. This totaled twenty-seven
pallets of materials.

LMSPA Spring Gift & Project Fundraiser /
8th Grade Legacy Gift Fundraiser
The following message is from the Ladue Middle School Parent
Association (LMSPA):
In late April, you should have received a letter and staff
acknowledgment form in the mail for the LMSPA's Spring Gift & Project
fundraiser. 6th and
7th grade families
received a general Spring Gift & Project letter, and 8th grade families received an 8th Grade
Legacy Gift letter.
Copies of these letters and staff acknowledgment forms are
available on the LMSPA website: http://mylmspa.com/gift- project/
This fundraiser allows you to donate to the LMSPA in honor of
any of our wonderful Ladue Middle School teachers and staff who have touched
your student's life and your family's life in some way.
The funds raised every year through Gift & Project make up a
substantial portion of the annual LMSPA budget. These funds allow the LMSPA to
continue to provide many important programs throughout the year that benefit
students, families and teachers and staff.
For 8th grade
families, your donation will help fund the legacy gift for this year's 8thgrade
class of a new marquee and outdoor seating for the Peace Garden.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated!
If you haven't already donated, we hope that you will make a
tax-deductible Gift & Project donation to support the LMSPA.
Each LMS staff member will receive a letter by the end of the
school year acknowledging all of the donations, in name only, that were made in
his or her honor. To be
guaranteed to be included on the staff acknowledgement letters, donations must
be received by tomorrow, Monday,
May 11th.
Please visit the LMSPA website for more information or to donate
online: http://mylmspa.com/gift- project/
Thank you very much for your support!

Current 7th grade students/Immunizations for next
year
Students
entering 8th grade in the state of Missouri are required to receive the TDaP
(tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) immunization. This is usually given by a doctor at age 11
or 12. If your child has not received
this immunization, please consult your physician. If you have records showing that your child
has received it, please provide them to the nurse's office.
