Dear LMS Families,
We enjoyed seeing many of you at Community Night and the Parent Coffee! Hopefully the year is off to a great start for your children!
The Ladue Middle School Parent Association (LMSPA) is a 100% parent volunteer organization here to support students, LMS staff and parents/guardians! It is a labor of love and we hope you will consider getting involved in some way!
We have 2 things with which we need your help in order to be able to communicate with you throughout the year.
You will begin receiving regular communications from the LMSPA in the near future but in order to ensure we are reaching everyone who wants to be reached, you MUST make sure you have updated your information on the Buzz Book page on the LMSPA website. Also, if you would like to volunteer, we need you to complete the volunteer form on our LMSPA website.
We'll see you at Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, August 21st at 6:30 P.M.!

#1 - DUE by Friday, AUGUST 30 - LMSPA Buzz Book updates and informational email blast request:
Do you want your child to be listed in the LMSPA online and paper Buzz Book(online student directory) and/or receive communications from the LMSPAthroughout the year?
IF YES and you haven't done so already, please click on the following link to go to the LMSPA website Buzz Book page.
Once there, do the following:
Choose option 1, if you are new to LMS, and need to set up information about your family and child.
Choose option 2, if you had a child at LMS and entered buzz book information last year or if you have already completed option 1 and would like to go back in and review your entry. If you have forgotten your password, use option 3!
PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:
* If you want your information published in the Buzz Book, you must click the appropriate check boxes at the bottom of the page.
* If you want to receive LMSPA informational emails, you must click the appropriate check box at the bottom of the page.
CHECK YOUR RECORD - IMPORTANT
After you have created or updated your information, please go back in using Option 2 and view your family's information to make sure it is accurate. If you would like to notate to whom a cell phone number belongs, you can put a name in parenthesis after the appropriate cell number.
After August 30th, any changes made to the online Buzz Book will NOT be included in the paper Buzz Book!

The LMSPA reserves the right to modify the data for publishing purposes in the paper version of the Buzz Book in order to accommodate page size constraints.

#2 - Volunteer! Volunteer! Volunteer!
As we have mentioned in the past, the middle school years go by very quickly. Getting involved with the LMSPA will help you to feel more connected to the school and you will meet some great parents!
Please click on the following link to volunteer! There is a committee description button you can click on to read about each of our opportunities!
Committee Chairpersons will be contacting those who volunteered in the near future. The Office Help committee needs volunteers now for tasks including picture day!

And finally:
1) If you haven't paid your dues, feel free to send them in via mail to LMS or drop them by the office! The money goes to support our students, staff and parents!
2) Start saving those Box Tops. You will receive communication in the near future explaining how to submit them!
3) Join the eScrip program (more information coming soon). Or if you are already a member but don't have all or part of your proceeds going to LMS, click on the following link to modify your contribution:

4) Watch your email for information about grade level parent parties, school grade level kid parties, magazine/cookie dough sales and more!
